Serving the Loganville area (Gwinnett and Walton County) for over twenty-five years, Victory Baptist School offers an affordable, private, accredited Christian education for preschool (K3), prekindergarten (K4), kindergarten (K5), elementary (1st-5th grade), middle school (6th-8th grade), and high school (9th-12th grade).
Victory Baptist School (VBS), a ministry of Victory Baptist Church (VBC), was founded in the fall of 1994 during the leadership of former pastor, Dr. Steve Sparks. The school began as Victory Baptist Preschool and Kindergarten under the guidance of Mrs. Debbie Lawrence, the school’s first administrator. The school started out with twenty-nine preschool and kindergarten students and three faculty members. Over the next ten years, additional preschool classes and faculty were added, and facilities were remodeled to accommodate the growth.
In the fall of 2005 under the direction of current pastor, Derik Lawrence, the school name changed to Victory Baptist School with the addition of first grade. Two first grade classes were added and the total school enrollment consisted of one hundred fifty-two students and faculty. The school continued to add a grade each year with the first senior class graduating in the 2016-2017 school year.
With the addition of more grades through the years, the school facilities were expanded to include nine additional classrooms, additional restrooms, a gymnasium, and three more offices. The school also added a library, an art room, a technology lab (equipped with MacBooks), and two playground areas.
Victory Baptist School received another amazing blessing from the Lord when we purchased the former Loganville Middle School (152 Clark McCullers Drive, Loganville, GA 30052). The middle school and high school moved to the new property in January 2018, and the preschool and elementary were relocated during the summer of 2018. The 2018-2019 school year is the first time that all preschool through high school students were together at the new property.
Victory Baptist School is Fully Accredited by Cognia (SACS CASI), and the Georgia Association of Christian Schools (GACS). VBS participates in the GACS Fine Arts competitions and the Georgia Christian Athletic Association (GCAA), the athletic arm of GACS.
